Gabrielle Buba will be appearing at ArmadilloCon 2026!

Gabriella Buba is a mixed Filipina-Czech author and chemical engineer based in Houston TX who likes to keep explosive pyrophoric materials safely contained in pressure vessels or between the covers of her books. She writes adult epic fantasy for bold, brown, bi women who deserve to see their stories centered. Her debut duology the Stormbringer Saga has been shortlisted for the Aldiss Award. Her novella Of Stolen Pearls and Broken Rice and her next book Alchemist of Bohemia, a dark academic gothic set in a castle built on a portal to hell, are expected Spring 2027.
