Keith Lansdale will be appearing at ArmadilloCon 2024!
Author, director and screenwriter Keith Lansdale’s credits span the media. He’s had a story adapted on Creepshow originally published when Keith was 12. He was a writer for the genre crossing Horror Western film, The Pale Door and his first film Christmas with the Dead is soon to be a musical stage play.
Recently, he has added the comic Prisoner of Violence to his credits, a graphic novel based on the same island where Joe’s terrifying story Prisoner 489 took place, given fresh life to the Red Range series, and had a story in the comic run “Gimme Five” with his 50’s inspired character, “Sgt. Deathsquad.”
Keith’s short story, “Elijah’s Elixir” is also set to release in October in the newest anthology, “Blood And Bullets.”
There’s also been a recent release in The Drive-In: Multiplex: A Tribute to Joe R. Lansdale’s The Drive-In, with Blood and Popcorn! As well as edited and contributed to the anthology, “About That Snowy Evening…” a collection of stories inspired by classic poetry.
Keith collaborated on Crawling Sky, In Waders from Mars and The X-Files: Case Files – Hoot Goes There.
He also co-edited Son of Retro Pulp Tales, a collection of short stories in the tradition of early pulp stories in cheap magazines and pre-1960s horror films. That collection features stories by Mike Resnick, Cherie Priest, Harlan Ellison, Christopher Golden, and more!
