- Covid-19 vaccinations, and applicable boosters are recommended for all ArmadilloCon attendees and participants.
- We recommend that you self-test before attending ArmadilloCon. Testing is available at:
- CVS Health
- H.E.B.: Rapid tests and PCR tests as well as self-tests
- Tarrytown Pharmacy: COVID and flu rapid tests
- Walgreens: COVID and flu tests
Be diligent about hygiene.
- Masks will be available at the ArmadilloCon Registration Desk, and are encouraged.
- Please wear a mask if you have respiratory symptoms (coughing, sneezing, sore throat, hoarseness, etc.), or if you think you have had a respiratory virus in the last 5 days.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water. Use soap and scrub for 20 seconds before rinsing.
- Hand sanitizer will be available at the ArmadilloCon Registration Desk and at other locations in the convention, and its use is encouraged.
- Hand sanitizers do not get rid of all types of viruses, though, so please also wash your hands regularly with soap and warm water.
We ask that all attendees, participants and volunteers follow our Health Pledge.
- You are committed to:
- Practicing respiratory etiquette, such as masking and/or covering your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing.
- Exercising good hygiene, including frequently washing or sanitizing your hands.
- Staying up to date with CDC recommendations for COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters.
- You are committed to NOT volunteering at or attending ArmadilloCon if any of the following apply to you:
- You have tested positive for COVID-19. Even if you don’t feel sick, you can spread COVID-19 to others.
- You are experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19, influenza or RSV. If ill, you should stay home until, for 24 hours BOTH (A) your symptoms are getting better and (B) you are fever-free (without meds).
