Liegh Toland

Liegh was five when she first stepped on stage as Mustardseed in her local high school’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She went on to be a member of theater departments in every school she attended, stretching her abilities in all realms of theater production. Liegh even performed in a play that was specifically written for her.

Since joining The Baron’s Men in 2009, she has worn many hats – Secretary of the Board of Directors, three time director (Romeo & Juliet, The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus, and most recently, A Midsummer Night’s Dream), producer, costumer, lighting designer, video editor, actor, educator, and event coordinator.

Outside of The Baron’s Men, Liegh serves on a local advocacy group board as the Community Outreach Coordinator and has been instrumental in helping to shape the organization. She has been an active member in the local theater community, as well as singing with several choirs around town.

Recently, Liegh graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and made a bold career change to become an 8th grade Science teacher at a local middle school. She believes wholeheartedly that science will save the world and theater (and art!) is a balm to the soul.
