Kasey Lansdale

Kasey Lansdale will be appearing at ArmadilloCon 2022! Kasey Lansdale has been in the fiction world since birth as a writer, editor, audio book narrator, and creative professional. Lansdale is based in LA, and is an active voting member of the Horror Writers of America (HWA). She is Executive Editor and VP, Marketing and Publicity, at Pandi Press.

As an author and editor, she has released numerous short-stories and anthologies from publications such as Harper Collins, Titan Books, and more. Lansdale is the editor of assorted anthology collections, including Subterranean Press’ Impossible Monsters. Her collection, Terror Is Our Business, was lauded by Publisher’s Weekly as “storytelling that delightfully takes on a lighter and sharper edge.” Most recently, her collaboration with her father and brother, The Companion, was adapted to episode 4 of the television remake of Shudder’s Creepshow, produced by Walking Dead producer, Greg Nicotero.

In addition to all that, she’s also a country blues singer and songwriter and actress! Now a Los Angeles, California resident, Lansdale is a regular performer at the famed Hotel Café in Hollywood. Lansdale’s music has been featured in films such as, Cold in July, starring award-winning actor, Michael C. Hall of Showtimes’ hit series Dexter; IFC Channel, Animal Planet, and the award winning Sundance TV Channel series, Hap and Leonard, where Lansdale can also be spotted as an actress. “As a vocalist, she walks the line between traditional and contemporary sounds throughout. She knocks out some notes that will leave you wondering ‘How did she do that?” said Billboard’s Chuck Dauphin.
