Joseph Fotinos and Professor Griffin will be appearing at ArmadilloCon!

Joseph Fotinos is an actor, writer, producer, Halloween enthusiast, monster toy collector and cosplayer and his first book, The Midnight Shadow Show- Prof. Griffin Journals– was released by Publish America in 2005. He was also a featured writer for both Scary Monsters Magazine and Fangoria.com.

A preppy college boy is eager to gain the supernatural powers of a werewolf, little does he know what truly awaits him behind the bite!

Joseph has appeared in films, The Legend of Ghostwolf and The Magnificent Dead and most recently starred as ‘Oz the werewolf’ in the award-winning horror short Bewere. He is a writer for Pirate Nation Magazine and a contributor to Pirate Nation Broadcasting.

Joseph is the host and one of the founding members of The Gentlemen Nerds and records a podcast discussing all things nerdy with Aaron De Orive and Mark Finn. (www.gentlemennerds.com)

Joseph is also the creator, host, co-producer and writer of Prof. Griffin’s Midnight Shadow Show, Texas’ premiere television late-night horror host show. (1999-2007) as well as the official Horror Host for national cable channel, Fangoria TV.

As Professor Griffin, Fotinos hosted the live premiere of IFC’s American Nightmare with Tobe Hooper, has appeared on SPIKE TV and was blessed by Universal with the official title of Official Universal Monster Spokesperson (for Central Texas). Professor Griffin was featured prominently in the 2006 Horror Host documentary feature, American Scary.

In 2020, Professor Griffin appeared as a panelist for Dark Horse Comics and actor David Dastmalchian’s Count Crowley, Reluctant Monster Hunter and returned to Austin Television as the host of the Halloween special, Professor Griffin’s Midnight Theatre on CBS Austin. The Midnight Theatre earned Professor Griffin (and Fotinos) his first Tele Award.

Joseph lives in Austin Texas with his wife Brandy, has a 19 year old son, and has actually met and has corresponded with both the late, great Vincent Price and his writing inspiration Ray Bradbury.
